Welcome to the Grace Bible Fellowship Church website

We are glad you found us and hope that you will find this site both helpful and informative.  Our aim as a church body, whether on a virtual site like this, as we meet as a body or as we are dispersed in our community throughout the week is to honor our Lord Jesus Christ with the humility of John the Baptist who said, "He (Christ) must increase and I must decrease."

At GBFC we believe that preaching/teaching goes hand in hand with living.  Doctrine must be joined with living and only then can life be joyful and full as God intends.  We also believe that the gospel message of hope is not just for those who attend Sunday services but it is a message to be delivered to the world!  This should begin in our community and extend to every “tribe and nation.”

Please join with us in prayer that the Lord will continue to build His church and many will be drawn into His Kingdom and worship Him now and for eternity!

Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 9:45am, followed by a Bible study hour at 11:15am.  We would love to have you come and worship with us.

Sola Scripture Bible Reading Plan for 2010 PDF Print E-mail
Written by Dave Dunbar

In order to honor God and His Word and to be built up in the faith, we're asking each husband/father to create a 2010 Bible reading plan for the members of his family. It might be reading through the Bible in a year, either in a regular Bible or a chronological Bible, or some other plan for reading part of the Bible. The New Testament has 260 chapters, so the plan might be one chapter per day, and then supplement with a few Old Testament books later in the year. The details might vary for each family and each person, but the important part is that each person has a plan to be in God's Word each day.

Husbands and dads, please work toward such a plan if you haven't done so already. If you need help with it, please ask one of the elders. I'm convinced it will be a blessing to each of you!

Ladies' Bible Study for 2010 PDF Print E-mail

Dear Ladies,

Beginning the first week in January, the Ladies' Bible Study will be reading the book, "The Excellent Wife". Martha Peace, a well-known speaker and NANC certified Biblical counselor, has written this book along with a study guide to use while reading it. Since the men were so faithful and diligent in their reading of The Complete Husband and growing in their roles as husband, I thought it would be appropriate if we would do the same. It is my desire and prayer that we would grow in our understanding and application of becoming a better wife for our husbands, our children, our church, and most of all for the glory of God.

This study would take most of next year and I would like to encourage all to attend and to participate. The men rotated leading each time they got together which I think would be beneficial for us as well. I enjoy leading but I also know that when one leads they get more out of the study. Also, I think it would benefit the women to hear from other ladies especially from those who have grown in becoming a godlier wife. Obviously leading is optional, but I would ask you to seriously pray about participating in this study as well as leading at least once.

I will have a sign up sheet in the back for those who want to be part of the study as well as a place for you to check if you need the book and/or study guide. You also can email me and let me know if you would like to participate as well. If childcare is an issue let me know and we will work out something where childcare is provided. I look forward to what God will do to us, in us, and through us next year.

Love in Christ,
Cheryl
